The incumbents will be responsible for managing a manufacturing area covering API or Pharmaceutical production in a value stream organization. You will ensure production requirements are met from a human resource perspective, review and improve the manufacturing areas performance, train and develop technicians and manage resources and priorities across an operations area. You will also be involved in the roll-out of continuous improvement initiatives, using Lean & Six Sigma, to achieve established output levels within cost and quality parameters while satisfying cGMP, environmental, safety and industrial health requirements. In particular you will have a lead role in the implementation and the subsequent improvement of a lean based production system in your operations area, with good understanding of the Value stream mapping process & being able to identify opportunities for improvements. Requirements: • Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or a related discipline (remove posses) • Minimum 8 years' experience in a manufacturing industry with 5 years management or supervision experience • Experience working and managing in a Lean production environment would be a considerable advantage • Able to perform rotating shifts.
